The Waitākere Vikings Basketball Club is dedicated to training local youth in the fundamentals of competitive basketball.

Due to limited resources, we can only accommodate kids aged 12 to 18. Our focus solely is on competition and do not offer skill development sessions and we are located in Henderson.

The Vikings Coaching program.

At Vikings Basketball Club, we develop young athletes by sharing our knowledge and experience. Our passionate and dedicated coaches play a key role in this development, using their expertise to inspire, guide, and challenge each player. Through structured concepts and drills, we teach the fundamentals of basketball and reinforce key principles in live play. Our coaching approach is athlete-centered, focusing not just on skill development but also on building confidence, teamwork, and a strong basketball IQ.

The Cost to Join is $145 per term including a loan uniform.

Kids joining this club must be 12 or older, placing them in U14, U16, or U18. We do not cater to younger age groups as we do not meet the necessary criteria to do so.
